Who We Are
Judie Levitt
Judie Levitt is a seasoned mortgage recruiter with over 20 years of experience in the industry. With a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Western Michigan University, Judie began her career in 2000 at a small mortgage broker in Chicago.
Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles at top corporations such as GMAC Mortgage, Ally Financial and United Wholesale Mortgage. Her extensive network and expertise in the mortgage industry led her to establish her own boutique hiring agency, The Judie Levitt Agency (JLA), in 2022. At JLA, Judie continues to leverage her relationships to connect top sales and loan officer talent with mortgage companies, providing a unique and personalized staffing solution.
Beyond the boardroom, Judie adds flair to her professional journey with a passion for travel, an eye for interior design, and a love for all things fashion and food. She seamlessly blends professionalism with a touch of fun, whether she’s making strategic career moves or exploring the latest fashion trends and mid-century modern treasures at flea markets with her mom. Outside the office, she finds joy on the golf course or the paddleboard.
Tara Houle
Tara Houle started recruiting 10 years ago and immediately fell in love with watching her candidate’s career succession and filling imperative roles within the company’s she has worked for. She knew it was her passion right away and that one day she wanted to own her own agency. While she has recruited for many different types of roles at both large companies and startups, her specialty is in hiring for mid to high level (or hard to fill) roles.
Tara’s passion is not only recruiting; her passion for Greece – Crete specifically goes beyond most. She loves to golf and paddleboard as well in her time away from the office.
The thought and time she puts into everything she does is selfless and seems effortless at times to others. She believes in experiences over material value but the experiences will be worth more than you would ever buy for the material value.
